Two more sleeps til travel time!
So, I just worked up the timeline for my travels this week:
Marshfield to Bangkok
(All created in USA
Eastern Standard Time)
Thursday, February 13, 2014
5:15AM Leave Marshfield
8:55AM Leave Boston
1:05PM Leave Chicago
Friday, February 14, 2014
2:30AM Arrive Narita, Japan
4:10AM Leave Narita, Japan
11:20AM Arrive Bangkok
Wow! That's 30+ hours of travel time! So I'm realizing that I leave home before I normally wake up on Thursday and I arrive at the airport in Bangkok on Friday, THE NEXT DAY when the Kindergarten and First Graders at my school are getting ready to go to lunch! Holy Cow! That's a lot of travel time! Bring on the movies, Kindle books, ipod playlists! What is the time difference once I'm in Bangkok? 12 hours. Bangkok is 12 hours AHEAD of Marshfield. That's it for today!
I'm exhausted just thinking about your travel plans. Be safe :)

ReplyDeleteWhat is the ratio of men and women teachers? Are there limits on # of children families can have as in China? Any adoption agencies who favor USA homes? Be SURE you get back to us!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Trails! Hope you get some rest. Can't wait to hear more!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first experience with blogging! Best wishes for a time of learning and adventure. Stay safe. Enjoy. Absorb.
